Front-Runner Chat-GPT

The poster child of chatbots that has completely changed the game for many industries. It has the ability to produce code in seconds cutting down much of the redundant production time that exists in development. It can create stories or produce random ideas pulled from its vast collection of data.

It’s company, OpenAI, has been developing ChatGPT since it’s founding in 2015. Since it’s inception it has worked openly with other AI technologies and projects to further the capabilities of the bot. They believe that by working together with these other companies, they can guarantee that AGI (Artificial Genera Intelligence) will benefit humanity instead of conquering us due to rogue code.

Recent developments for this model however has shaken investor confidence. OpenAI’s CEO, Sam Altman, has openly said "GPT-4 is the dumbest model any of you will ever have to use again by a lot.” This presentation took place at Stanford where he openly spoke about the rising cost associated with running this ever-expanding bot.

Google’s Gemini

Widely considered the best alternative to Chat-GPT currently, Google released Gemini in February 2024 to select testers. Since then it has evolved into a suite of AI models that perform separate tasks all under the Gemini umbrella. This gives it the capability to produce actual images, take you to specific websites, and clarify documents in record time.

Gemini is not without it’s issues, it has steep competition due to ChatGPT’s strong launch. When first released as Bard in 2023, the public was not satisfied with much of what it offered. Many claim this is due to Google reacting to OpenAI’s release and upcoming Microsoft’s AI release a day later.

Time has since been kind to Bard, now called Gemini. Months of compounding improvements and features added by Google has helped make this AI model suite take it’s place as one of the big three. Included below 👇️ is the link to this Chat Bot, have fun playing with the image prompt!

Microsoft Co-Pilot

Launched a day after Google’s Bard, this AI model struggled to find its identity amongst the crowd. Built using OpenAi’s ChatGPT model, Microsoft launched this product under the name “Bing Chat” in February 2023. This was roughly a day after its competitor putting it immediately up for comparison by the public.

In a bid to regain it’s standing, Microsoft went on the offensive. It began working on introducing Bing Chat into it’s Office products under the name Co-Pilot 365. This tapped into a massive corporate market allowing them to implement AI features into your every day Microsoft Word document. Due to the massive success it saw with this, they moved to setup Co-Pilot in every suite they utilize. Edge for example now has the model built in for every day use making it easy for you to reach and utilize it.

Recently, the company announced they’ll be using OpenAI’s GPT4o model as it begins rolling out. Curious how Co-Pilot functions now? We’ve provided the link below for you to plug your prompts into!
